Many students at Conway Springs High School have Youtube channels -- ranging from funny to informational. Usually, videos are uploaded to the channel and watched by subscribers.

Sophomore Austin Doffing uses his Youtube channel, Eeveegamer52, to show off his artistic skill. He records the videos at his house, usually taking three hours to complete each video. He enjoys drawing animated characters from his favorite shows for fun.

“I started [drawing] when I was 10, just to make cool videos [as I got older],” he said.

The videos require editing skills that Doffing said he developed early on when he first started the channel in 2015.

“I was looking forward to using both my editing skills and the channel for video productions class,” Doffing said.

One of his videos has more than 2,000 views, and his channel got noticed by a few students who asked him to personally draw pictures for them, so he has started drawing other things beside animated characters exclusively.

“It was cool that they asked me to do that,” Doffing said. “I hope that I will have time to upload more videos on my channel soon.”
