Many of the students at Conway Springs High School have activities they do after school, whether it be sports or music or a club. Senior Chloe Henderson attended a music camp this past summer with senior Michelle Willson. The camp was recommended by previous vocal music teacher Ellen Kerr, but it wasn’t until they got there they realized the camp was for the ICT Flight Show Choir.

“We didn’t know it was a show choir camp until we got there,” Henderson said.

Henderson already participates in Cardinalaires, and when she found out that there were auditions for the ICT Flight Show Choir coming up, she decided to audition and ended up making it.

She also found out that it takes more than most people think to stick with it.

“It’s a lot of work, especially the workouts, but all the members connect well,” Henderson said.

The show choir is currently working on their fall show, which will be held at Maize High School Sunday, Oct. 16 and is also the start of their competitive show choir season. Photo By Crystal Hinnen
