League Honor Band and Choir was supposed to be on Saturday, Jan. 14, but it was canceled because of the threat of bad weather. Since it was canceled, the event’s organizers are trying to reschedule it for a different day. If they cannot find a day that will be acceptable, honor band and choir will not be held this year. “I was not very happy when they told us we were not having honor choir,” sophomore Lawrence Pauly said, “although I understood that we were going to have bad weather, so I wasn’t too upset about it.” Four students were planning on attending. Sophomore Ashlyn Lefebvre was also upset by the event’s cancellation. “I was upset because I was really looking forward to singing with the other schools,” she said . Despite the disappointment, sophomore Cassidy Oswald looked on the bright side. “I was a little upset that honor choir was cancelled because I had already taken off work. But I was happy to have the day to myself without worrying about having to go to work,” she said. |
