Painting with a purpose

Whenever junior Cassie Brozovich has any free time, she likes to paint. She just recently started painting with oils. Painting with oils allows an artist to have a more rich, vivid painting than with other paint. Painting can be a relaxing, enjoyable way to get away from the rest of the world.

“When I paint, it feels like it’s just me and the painting,” Brozovich said. “Everything else disappears.”

To some people, like Brozovich, painting and arts come easily, while for others, it’s more challenging. Even though it could be challenging, it could also be a good way to unwind and try to perfect the technique each time.

“Painting comes naturally for me,” Brozovich said. “That’s why it’s not as challenging.”

Overall, Brozovich said painting is a good way to clear her mind. It’s not only enjoyable and relaxing, but it is good for physical and mental health.

“I paint all the time,” Brozovich said. “It’s my favorite thing to do in my free time.”
