The cheerleaders held a pep assembly for the first basketball game. They picked one student for each grade to be the head cheerer and fire up their class. At the end of the assembly, the seniors won the spirit stick for being the loudest and having the best cheer.

“I thought that the assembly was more interactive with everyone than it usually is,”  junior Cassie Brozovich said. “Being head cheerer was a little awkward, but I still liked it. I wasn’t sure what cheer to do, so the cheerleaders gave me a few options, and I chose one and winged it.”
