Preparation for the BPW concert is a stressful time for the Cardinaliares. The Cardinalaires have been preparing for the concert since the Monday after their last performance at Fall Fest and are now less than a month away from the concert. “I’m excited because I had fun last year,” Cardinalaire member and sophomore Chloe Henderson said. Director Ellen Kerr said she thought that the Cardinalaires were a hardworking group this year. “They are willing to come in and rehearse as much as it takes to put on a good performance,” she said. “I have a few really helpful students that are writing the choreography too, and I really appreciate that.” Cardinalaire member and freshman Abby Heimerman said she thought the group was strong but still had things to work on. “I think we have a pretty good group, even though we need more boys and we need to listen better,” Heimerman said. After the BPW concert, the Cardinalaires will perform at the Community Candlelighting Service Dec. 7 at the Presbyterian Church with the CSHS Choir and the Choral Reds, the High School Christmas Concert Dec. 15, and a performance at Springview Manor Dec. 17. The Cardinalaire BPW concert will be at the Methodist Church Dec. 4 at 7:30 a.m. Everyone is invited to attend. |
