NHS held their second blood drive of the school year on March 4. The blood drive was open to everyone in the school and community 16 or older. After donating blood, donors were escorted to the canteen for a snack of crackers, cookies, or fruit snacks as well as water or juice. The sign up for the drive ended that morning, but walk-ins were also accepted. “The blood drive was pretty good, even though we didn’t get enough blood for a scholarship,” senior NHS president Katie Zoglmann said. “I still say we did a good deed.” |
