Oct. 30 Stuco will kick off their annual apparel sales. Sale items include hoodies, T-shirts, sweats, shorts and jackets, along with other items. New items this year include a burnout shirt, a ladies’ cotton hooded jacket, and a ladies’ Dri-FIT jacket. The money raised is used for a variety of things. “Typically we use the money to help pay for events like dances, ice skating and the bowling trip we took the seniors on last year,” Stuco sponsor Callie Bartelson said. “In previous years we have used it to send kids to the Stuco workshop in the summer.” In previous years, sales have went really well. Hoodies and sweatpants have been the most popular items. Many students, staff members and community members purchase the apparel. Stuco members also said they are excited for the sales. “It will be awesome,” Stuco president and senior Dustin Martin said. “I think it will be a little better than last year because we have more motivated Stuco members.” All of the Stuco members expect the sales to go very well. “It’s going to go great. I think it will be the best year yet,” junior Stuco representative Chad Ebenkamp said. “We have hardworking people working hard to achieve the same goal.” If any students are interested in purchasing apparel they can contact any Stuco member or go by the office or library starting Oct. 30. Stuco asks you to show your school pride and help Stuco out at the same time by purchasing one of the many items available for sale. |
