More than 50 students joined Pep Club this year, and the members have put a lot of effort into it. “The thing I like the most about pep club is watching all the students come together and cheer for our teams,” vice president and senior Emma Barkley said. One way pep club has gotten students to come together is by dressing for a certain theme. “Some of the past themes have been camo, cowboys, red and white, and pink out,” president and senior Marcus Smith said. These themes are usually decided as a group and then spread to the rest of the school. “My favorite theme so far was pink out because it’s helping support a good cause,” senior Joshua Dugan said. The upcoming themes will be superheroes on the Oct. 14 home football game and white out on the Oct. 18 home volleyball game. |
