The senior class has finished selling meat and fruit for the senior class trip to Kansas City on May 12. The overall goal for students was to sell 25 items each to be able to attend the trip. If a senior did not meet this quota and still wants to attend the trip, they are required to pay the difference. All the fundraisers were due on Nov. 1. “My personal goal was to reach 30 items, but so far I have only raised 23, which is okay because our actual goal is 25,” senior Jacob Kautz said. The senior class is approaching graduation, and Kautz said he is excited to spend his last day before graduation in Kansas City. The class is estimated to leave around 4 a.m. and is planned to return around 2 a.m. the following night. “I am looking forward to spending time with my classmates,” senior Caylee Harrington said. Senior sponsor Bryan Bates said this fundraiser has been very successful throughout the years and has had positive feedback from students and the community. “The products are healthy and have good values. Several things are cheaper than what you could get at a grocery store and the majority of the items have very good deals,” Mr. Bates said. |
