The Conway Springs High School held a Winter Formal dance on Dec. 6 in the commons area from 8:30-11 p.m. “My favorite part about the dance is hanging out with my friends and getting dressed up,” sophomore Rachel Echelberry said. Student Council holds the dance so students can all get together and have fun in a school setting and also to reward them for the hard work they do throughout the semester. “The DJ was good,” sophomore Kadee Hilger said. “It felt like being at a wedding reception.” There is always food and fun things to do at a dance. This year, Stuco had a photo booth which was open from 8:30-10:30 p.m. “The best part of the dance was the photo booth,” junior Makayla Hollis said. “It’s awesome because you can have fun, goofy memories with your friends.” The next dance will be Winter Homecoming in January.
