Once again, the juniors are selling magazines for the junior-senior prom. Junior sponsors Cindy Mullen and Kirby Kenny are in charge of all the sales that the students make. Junior class treasurer Allyssa Davis is also in charge of the magazine sales money. Chad Ebenkamp is one of the many leaders of his own group of juniors to collect their money and take it to Davis. “I haven’t got any money yet,” Ebenkamp said, “but being in charge of some of the money is pretty cool and life changing. I expect the sales to go great because I’m in charge.” Mullen is also optimistic the sales will go well. “I’ve been in charge of magazine sales for 35 years,” Mrs. Mullen said, “since the fall of 1979. The sales have dropped off some, but we have still managed to have a good prom.” The money funds food, decorations and the DJ. “I feel excited to be responsible with the money and ready to start raking it in,” Davis said. “So far I only have one book, but there will be more by Tuesday. I expect the sales to go very well.” Sept. 15 is the final date for juniors to hand in their magazine packet to their group leaders. Anyone interested in ordering a magazine can contact a junior or the high school office. |
