As the only formal dance besides prom, Winter Semi-Formal is a favorite event hosted in December. The theme has changed every year, and Stuco members said they are excited to be working on the latest one. With new ideas pouring in from Stuco members, Winter Formal is expected to be better than last year. “Stuco has a lot of new, good ideas,” freshman class representative Sabrina Bellar said. “I think we will have a good time and that we are really raising the bar and working hard.” The date for Winter Formal is expected to be Dec. 6. As it falls on a Saturday, those planning to attend will have plenty of time to prepare. “I think we will have a great turnout,” senior class representative Travis Wood said. Something new to be anticipated is an actual photo booth, which was a popular vote in Stuco. Students should also expect plenty of food and great decorations. “I’m really excited about the photo booth,” sophomore and band representative Chloe Henderson said. “We will also have the DJ who came for our Homecoming return. He was really popular with many of the students.” The dance is expected to last from 8:30 to 11 p.m. The theme will be “Under the Northern Lights.” |
