Take the ‘The Longest Ride’ and Read the Book

If you are looking for a good AR book to read this semester, I would recommend “The Longest Ride” by Nicholas Sparks. The love story is phenomenal and “The Longest Ride” isn’t just about one couple but an older couple and their love throughout the years. If you have already read it and are looking forward to the movie, I would recommend not watching it. Although the movie was excellent, I was very disappointed because it was nothing like the book. If you haven’t read the book, then go ahead and watch it.

The events in the movie didn’t appear in correct order and a lot that happened in the book didn’t happen accurately in the movie. I have read the book, and I was really disappointed when it came to the movie. The only reason I would watch it again would be because Scott Eastwood is an extremely attractive man with an angelic face.

For me, “The Longest Ride” took a little bit to get into, but when you finally get into it you won’t be able to put it down.

The story intertwines with four people's lives and is put together very well. The detail Sparks adds to his stories and people's lives makes me feel connected to them, and I am able to imagine what it must have been like and how it felt to be in a certain character's position. I was very impressed with how it all fit together. Sparks is a writing genius.

As disappointing as the movie was, I would for sure recommend the book.
