Rating: 5 out of 5 Cardinals If you like new and upcoming artists, Buddy Brown may just satisfy your itch for new country music. Since the release of his first album “Mason Jar” on July 4, 2012, Brown has been slowly rising to fame while opening shows for and performing with more established artists such as Florida Georgia Line and Chris Cagle. Although his music is not as well known, it is well liked for its less modern sound. His music incorporates modern lyrics, which listeners can connect with, with less modern acoustics. His newest album, “Keepin’ It Country”, was released Oct. 14, 2014, and was rated number 12 on iTunes in country music. In his newest album, my favorite song is “The Whiskey Did”, closely followed by “We Played Football”. Brown’s music is very true to life. Although most country music is said to connect to most listeners, I find Buddy Brown to be a prime example of true-to-life lyrics. I believe you will enjoy hearing his music and supporting him as he makes his way to stardom. |
