Senior Ryed Creek signed to play volleyball with Neosho Community College on Nov. 1. Neosho Community College is in Chanute, Kan., over two hours away. Creek first went on a college visit there on Aug. 2. “It’s not too far from home,” she said. “They have smaller classes, and they have a great volleyball program.” Creek has played for the Conway Springs High School volleyball team for four years and has played club and summer league volleyball in Wichita as well. The positions she plays are left back and outside hitter. “If I could be any other position, I would like to be setter,” Creek said. “I personally think I have good hands.” Creek played one season for her club team this year. It was a competitive team for 18 year olds. She also played three years for the MVA. “What I like most about volleyball is working as a whole team and creating an unbreakable bond with my teammates,” she said. |
