The freshman/sophomore volleyball season started on Saturday, Aug 26 in Belle Plaine for their first tournament and they are very confident for the upcoming season. They fought hard throughout the day and ended with a record of 1-2. “ We did really well, we worked as a team and had great enthusiasm,” freshman Tatum Wykes said. Karlie Biehler feels very confident about this season, “ We have positive attitudes throughout the game and had a lot of good points,.” The team also has some weaknesses that they are striving to improve on this season. “We need to work on our communication and coming together after each play,.” freshman Taryn Starks said. The team has a bright season ahead of them and we cannot wait to see what year has for them. Their next game is September 11 at 5pm at the high school.
