Many seniors are gearing up for college and graduation this time of the year. National Signing Day was Feb. 4, which is when high school seniors across the nation sign a commitment to play sports in universities and community colleges. Three CSHS seniors signed a commitment to play college sports on National Signing Day: Logan Creek, Luke Fisher, and Thomas Berntsen.

“I feel like it will be a good experience,” Creek said.

Creek is planning to major in kinesiology or as an athletic trainer at Butler County Community College in the fall term.

“I’m excited and ready,” Fisher said.

Fisher will be studying agriculture business while he plays football at Butler with Creek.

“I think it’s going to be awesome,” Berntsen said.

Berntsen will be going to college for welding as well as playing football for the Hutchinson Community College Dragons.

Conway has four other seniors already committed to play college sports and a few that are still undecided on whether or not to play sports.

CSHS football coaches support Berntsen, Creek and Fisher on their commitment to play football their freshman year of college.
