As most students would know, the upcoming Garden Plain football game is one worth anticipating. For most fans and players, at this game, they want to make a strong impression. As rivals, Conway Springs will have to go the extra mile to show school pride at the game Sept. 18. The pep club is already preparing.

“We will be louder, ranked higher as a student section and have a cool theme,” senior and Pep Club president Alicia Carter said.

Coach Matt Biehler supported what Carter said.

“The student section has always helped motivate the boys. Just be loud and cheer for the boys like you always have,” he said.

Coach Biehler said the team has been practicing to execute plays on offense and defense. The football players are prepared to play with heart and give it their all.

“We are excited to win,” senior and captain Wes Hullinger said. “They’re our rivals, and it will be our last time to play against them.”
